Qatar judge overturns conviction of U.S. couple in child's death

Doha, Qatar (CNN) -- American couple Matthew and Grace Huang, who had been convicted in Qatar in the death of their adopted 8-month-old daughter last year, won their appeal in a Doha court on Sunday.

The Huangs were arrested in January 2013 when their daughter Gloria died and charged with starving her to death.

The couple maintained their daughter suffered from an eating disorder and denied wrongdoing, but were convicted, then in April they were sentenced to three years in prison.
